Introduction of the Campaign
PUMA has launched its first official campaign with BLACKPINK’s Rosé. The partnership showcases the pop star introducing PUMA’s classic styles to a new audience.
Rosé as PUMA’s Ambassador
Rosé, now a PUMA ambassador, is featured wearing the new Palermo low-top sneakers in “cobalt” and “black” colorways. A statement from PUMA highlights that Rosé’s role will bring her vision and unique insights to the brand’s global campaigns and storytelling.
Details of the Partnership
Announced last month, this partnership focuses on PUMA’s catalog of silhouettes, with Rosé bringing a fresh perspective to their classic designs. “I am so excited to join the PUMA family,” Rosé said on June 17. She joins other notable ambassadors like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Dua Lipa, and Skepta. “I cannot wait for my fans to join my next chapter with PUMA.”
BLACKPINK’s Achievements
Since BLACKPINK’s debut in 2016, Rosé, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo have achieved significant milestones, including breaking records, topping charts, and filling arenas worldwide. They were the first K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella and the first Asian act to headline the festival.
Rosé’s Background
Rosé, born Roseanne Park in Auckland, New Zealand, and raised in Melbourne, Australia, is known for her distinct Aussie accent. At 15, she auditioned for YG Entertainment, a South Korean music company, at her father’s suggestion. She then moved to South Korea and debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016.
Future Plans
More details about PUMA’s creative partnership with Rosé will be revealed later this year.
